Emitter Editor Sneak Peek

No, it's not finished yet.
But here's a screenshot of the current development progress.

Once the Emitter Editor is finished,
you can save and load external XML files representing particle design.
So you can save your own presets and share them with others.

This entire workflow would be far less time-consuming and much more user-friendly.
I'm really looking forward to the Editor's completion :)

BOOM with Emitter 2.0

Finally, here's something not as boring as the basic examples for Emitter 2.0!
This fancy bomb explosion effect is entirely made with Emitter 2.0.

And here's another example.
Snowflakes :)

These two examples are included in the example pack.

Yes, believe your eyes.
I've made an Emitter 2.0 point source component :)
Now you can tweak the parameters in the Component Inspector panel.
You don't even have to write a single line of code!

Also, I've made an Emitter 2.0 performance monitor component.
It monitors the engine's performance.
And it gives you a quick info of how man particles are currently present in an emitter.

Have fun!

Emitter 2.0 released!!

I've rewritten my particle engine, Emitter, entirely from scratch.
It was an extremely tiring work, but I think it's totally worth it!

The engine's structure is completely different from the previous version.
And you can have much more control on particle behaviors.
Most notably is the new "behavior trigger" and "behavior" features.
This is a pretty flexible mechanism.
You can create many complex effects with it.

The source, documentation, compiled binary, are in the SVN repository.

I'm working on a thorough and comprehensive tutorial now.
It'll be available soon.

Enjoy :P
